(i) C+O2CO2(g), ΔH=94 kcal/mol

(ii) H2+12O2H2O(l), ΔH=68.3 kcal/mol

(iii) C2H6+72O22CO2+3H2O, ΔH=373 kcal/mol

Now,

2×(i)+3×(ii)(iii), will give,

2C+3H2C2H6

ΔH=2×(94)+3×(68.3)(373)

ΔH=19.9 kcal mol1

Option B is correct.
