Here, number of girls = 8 which is even​
Median=$\frac{1}{2}\left(\frac{n}{2}thterm+(\frac{n}{2}+1)thterm\right)$
=$\frac{1}{2}\left(\frac{8}{2}thterm+(\frac{8}{2}+1)thterm\right)$
=$\frac{1}{2}\left(4thterm+5thterm\right)$
=$\frac{1}{2}\left(138+140\right)cm$
=$\frac{1}{2}\left(278\right)=139cm$
