Intracytoplasmic sperm injection is a highly sophisticated procedure of directly injecting a sperm into egg.
GIFT is gamete intrafallopian transfer, that is transfer of gametes into the fallopian tube.
ZIFT is Zygote intrafallopian transfer. Here the zygote that is formed invitro is transferred into the fallopian tube.
And IVF is in vitro fertilization, which is essentially different from ZIFT merely in the time taken to transfer the embryo. In ZIFT the zygote is transferred within 24 hours and into the fallopian tube, the place where the fertilization would take place. But in IVF the zygote is allowed to develop further in vitro and is transferred into the uterus at the embryo stage.
