The correct option is A 4.5 and 7.5 m
Let x be the length of the small leg, then x+3 be the length of the hypotenuse.
Applying Pythagoras theorem,
62+x2=(x+3)2
36+x2=x2+6x+9
369=6x
27=6x
x=4.5
The smaller leg =x=4.5 m
Hypotenuse =x+3=4.5+3=7.5 m
