The correct option is B 15,20
Given: Hypotenuse of right triangle =25 cm
Let the other sides be x and x+5
Thus, By Pythagoras Theorem:
252=x2+(x+5)2
625=x2+x2+25+10x
2x2+10x600=0
x2+5x300=0
x2+20x15x300=0
(x+20)(x15)=0
x=15,20
Thus, the other two sides are 15 cm and 20 cm.
