We know that, Apparent depth=Actual depthμ

So, the object distance , u=15+33.25μ

u=15+33.251.33

u=40 cm

Image distance,

v=15+25μ

v=15+251.33=33.75 cm

Using mirror formula:1v+1u=1f1f=1(40)+1(33.75)

f18 cm

Hence, option (b) is the correct answer.
