Molluscs
Molluscs have an unsegmented soft body with bilateral symmetry. Presence of an internal or external shell. A toothed tongue (made mostly of chitin) called the radula. A mantle which is a fold in the body wall that lines the shell. Molluscs include many of the most important seafood such as abalone, clams, mussels, octopus, oysters, squid, and scallops as well as terrestrial snails. Marine molluscs and crustacea (shrimps, prawns, crabs, crayfish and lobsters) are both known as shellfish.
