The correct option is A 15:22
Let the incomes in 2000 of Companies X and Y be 3x and 4x respectively.
And let the expenditures in 2000 of Companies X and Y be E1 and E2 respectively.
Then, for Company X we have:
65=3xE1E1×10065100=3xE11E1=3x×(10065)....(i)
For Company Y we have:
50=4xE2E2×10050100=4xE21E2=4x×(100150)...(ii)
From (i) and (ii), we get:
E1E2=3x×(100165)4x×(100150)=3×1504×165=1522 (Required ratio).
