Indus Valley civilisation had a great system of urban infrastructure. It had houses in rows, road crossing each other at ninety degrees, city wide drainage system etc. The most important aspect of this infrastructure was that it was made up of burnt bricks, those which are used in modern day constructions. The mud was shaped into bricks by the use of wooden moulds and then baked in Kiln using fire. The uniform measurements of these bricks are remarkable.
