Solution

The correct option is A Cristae
Mitochondria are cylindrical or sausage-shaped double membranous organelles distributed in the cytoplasm. It is surrounded by two membranes designated as outer and inner membrane. The outer membrane is smooth and forms the continuous limited boundary of the mitochondria. The inner membrane forms a number of infoldings in mitochondria. These infoldings are known as cristae. These are formed towards the matrix. They increase the surface area for enzyme action.
