Beside this, the Government of India and the World Bank has also signed a $375 m i l l i o n l o a n a g r e e m e n t f o r J M V P . T h e s i g n i n g o f t h e p a c t c o m e s a f t e r U n i o n C a b i n e t a p p r o v e d t h e i m p l e m e n t a t i o n o f$ 800 million JMVP for capacity augmentation of navigation on River Ganga.
