(1) The bar graph shows that the height of the bar of literate women is greatest in village C.
Therefore, the number of literate women is greatest in village C.
(2) Number of literate and illiterate women is same in village B, as the heights of the bar are same for literate and illiterate women.
(3) The bar graph shows that the height of the bar of village C for illiterate women is 400.
Therefore, number of illiterate women in village C is 400.
(4) The bar graph shows that the number of illiterate women in village D is 700 and number of literate women is 500.
Therefore, (700 – 500 = 200) the number of illiterate women is more than the number of literate women in village D.
(5) The bar graph shows that the height of the bar for literate women is smallest in village D.
Therefore, number of literate women is least in village D.
