K.E. of the object = 25 J Velocity of the object, v=5ms−1 ∵K.E.=12mv2 ⇒m=2K.E.v2 ⇒m=2×2525=2kg
If the velocity is doubled,v=2×5=10ms−1 ∴K.E.(forv=10ms−1)=12×2×100=100J
If the velocity is tripled, v=3×5=15ms−1 ∴K.E.(forv=15ms−1)=12×2×225=225J
