Solution

The correct option is A Both B and C

Number of Margherita pizzas =x
Three times the number of Margherita pizzas =3×x
=3x
Number of pepperoni pizzas is 4 more than 3 times the number of Margherita pizzas, that is, 3x+4.
Number of pepperoni pizzas =3x+4
Cost of each pizza =$9
Cost of all the pepperoni pizzas =9×(3x+4) or 9(3x+4)
=9×3x+9×4
=$(27x+36)
Cost of all the Margherita pizzas =$(9×x) or $(9x)
So, the total cost of the Margherita and pepperoni pizzas =27x+36+9x
=$(36x+36)
Also, the total cost of the Margherita and pepperoni pizzas =$(9(3x+4)+9x)

Option D is the correct choice.
