The L.C.M. of two numbers is greater than the larger of the two number. Ex - : L.C.M of (2,3)=6 and L.C.M of (1,2)=2.

Since the 6 is greater than 2 and 3 which is greater 2 is equal to 2.

The L.C.M. of two numbers is greater than and equal the larger of the two number.

Hence , the L.C.M. of two numbers is not greater than the larger of the two number.
