The correct option is A 865
Let V=Volume of metallic body
45% of volume is in oil
i.e.., Voil= 45% of V
=0.45 V
and
Vwater=0.55V


For equilibrium condition,
Net buoyant force =(FB)w+(FB)oil
=Weight of body

Mb g=ρw Vw g+ρoil Voil g

Mb=ρwVw+ρoilVoil

ρbV=ρw×0.55V+ρoil×0.45V

or ρb=ρw×0.55+ρoil×0.45

=1000×0.55+700×0.45

=550+315=865kg/ m3
