The largest sugarcane producing state of India is Uttar Pradesh.

Sugarcane is a vital crop in India. As sugarcane is the raw material of various other products like sugar and jaggery. It has about 38.61% share in overall sugarcane production as per the year 2013-14. India stands at second position in the world in the production of sugarcane.
