The least common multiple or L.C.M of a group of numbers is the smallest number that is a multiple of all the numbers.

So, to find the L.C.M of 4,5 & 6 let's have a look at the factors of each of them.

Factors of 4 - 2×2

Factors of 5 - 1×5

Factors of 6 - 2×3

To find the L.C.M we'll take all the numbers that appeared in factors and with their maximum power.

Smallest number which is a multiple of all these numbers will be - 2×2×3×5 = 60.
