Solution

The correct option is C irrational of the form p14, where p is an odd integer
given, sinπ(x2+x)sinπx2=0
The general solution is
π(x2+x)=nπ+(1)nπx2
(x2+x)=n+(1)nx2
If n is even i.e. n=2m
(x2+x)=2m+x2
x=2mI
If n is odd n=k(say)
(x2+x)=kx2
2x2+xk=0
x=1±1+8k4
For least positive non-integral solution
x=1+1+8k4
x=1+p4 where p is an odd integer
