Since l m are parallel lines and PQ is transversal,
$\therefore x=\angle PQR\left[alternateinteriorangles\right]\Rightarrow x={35}^{\circ }[\therefore \angle PQR={35}^{\circ }]Again,x+y={180}^{\circ }\left[linearpair\right]\Rightarrow {35}^{\circ }+y={180}^{\circ }\Rightarrow y={180}^{\circ }-{35}^{\circ }={145}^{\circ }$
