Area, A = l×b=5.7×3.4=19.38cm2=19.0cm2 (rounding off to two significant figures)
AA=±(ll+bb)
= ±(0.15.7+0.23.4)=±(0.34+1.145.7×3.4)=±1.4819.38
A=±1.4819.38×A=±1.4819.38×19.38=±1.48
A=±1.5 (rounding off to two significant figures);
Area = (19.0±1.5)cm2.
