Let the length of the rectangle be l cm.

Since the length of the rectangle is 10.5 cm more than the breadth, the breadth of the rectangle is (l − 10.5) cm.

Ratio of the length to the breadth of the rectangle = 8:5

∴ Length of the rectangle = 28 cm

Breadth of the rectangle = (28 − 10.5) cm = 17.5 cm
