Given: the ratio of length and breadth $= 4 : 5$
Let length $= 4 x$
$\Rightarrow 4 x = 20$ [ $∵$ Length $= 20 m$ (given)]
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{20}{4} = 5 m$
and, breadth $= 5 x m$
$= 5 \times 5$
$= 25 m .$
Hence breadth of the field is $25 m .$
