Solution

The correct option is D 640 m
Let length =5x and breadth =3x
Area = length × breadth
=5x×3x=15x2
Cost of cultivating 1 square meter =25 paise
Cost of cultivating 15x2 square meter =25×15x2=375x2 paise= Rs. 375100x2
Given, Rs. 375100x2= Rs. 6000
x2=6000×100375
x2=1600
x=40
length =5×40=200 m
and breadth =3×40=120 m
Since, perimeter =2( length + breadth)
=2(200+120)
=2(320)=640 m
hence, option C is correct.
