Solution

We are given:
Length of paper = 35 cm
Breadth of paper = 22 cm

(All figures are in cm.)

The area of the largest circle that can be cut from the rectangular paper has a diameter equal to the breadth of the paper.

Therfore, diamter, d = cm
We also know that radius r = d / 2 = (22 / 2) cm = 11 cm

Now, calculating area of a circle of radius 11 cm :-
Area = πr2 = 3.14 × 112 = 379.94 m2
This is the required answer.
