Perimeter of the plot = 2(length of the plot + width of the plot)
60 = 2 (20 + width of the plot)
60=2×20+2× width of the plot
60=40+2× width of the plot
6040=2× width of the plot
20=2× width of the plot
Width of the plot = 202=10 ft
Area of the plot to be covered with grass = total area of the land = length of the land × width of the land
=20×10
=200 sq ft
Therefore, area of the land to be covered with grass =200 sq ft
