The length , breadth and height of a rectangular block are in the ratio 5 : 3 : 4. It's Volume is 3840 cc.

Find the breadth.

Let the Length , Breadth and height be 5x , 3x and 4x respectively

If the Block is rectangular then it is a cuboid.

Volume of cuboid is = lbh

3840 = 5x $\times$ 3x $\times$ 4x

$\Rightarrow$ 60 $x^3$ = 3840

$\Rightarrow$ $x^3$ = $\frac{3840}{60}$ = 64

$\Rightarrow$ $x$ = 4 cm

Breadth = 3x = 3$\times$4 = 12 cm
