The correct option is C 7.5 units
Given: At h=5 units,l=4.8 units

We know that l1h2

h2l=k=52×4.8=120
If height were reduced by 20%
then new height would be
520100×5=51=4 units

plugging in h=4 in h2l=k=120
we get,
l=12042=12016=7.5 units
