Given least count of metre rod =0.1 cm Diameter measured with vernier caliper of least count =0.01 cm Length of Rod=5 cm Radius =2 cm Diameter =4 cm
we know volume of cylinder v=πr2l=πd2l4(1)
Take logarithm both sides in eq 1logv=2log(d)+log(l)+log(π/4)
Differentiating Both Sides dvv=2d(d)d+dll
dvv=2(0,01)4+0.15=0.025% error =2.5%
