The correct option is B 3 cm Let the breadth of rectangle is x cm ,then length is x+3
Then the area of rectangle =x(x+3)
And perimeter of rectangle =2(x+3+x)
As per question area and perimeter numerical equal
∴X(x+3)=2(x+3+x)
⇒x2+3x=4x+6
⇒x2+3x−4x−6=0
⇒x2−x−6=0
⇒x2−3x+2x−6=0
⇒x(x−3)+2(x−3)=0
⇒(x−3)(x+2)=0
