Let, width$=x$m

$\therefore 3xm$

Given, rectangle$=84m$

$2(length+width)=84$

$2(3x+x)=84$

$2\times 4x=84$

$8x=84$

$x=\frac{84}{8}$

$x=\frac{21}{2}$

$x=10.5$m

Width of rectangle, $x=10.5$m

Length of rectangle $3x$

$=3\times 10.5$m

$=31.5$m
