The length of a rectangle is 7 times its breadth. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 96 m. find its length and breadth.

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x.
Length=7x

Since, the perimeter of the rectangle =96 m

Therefore,
2(Length+Breadth)=96
2(7x+x)=96
16x=96
x=6 m

So, the length will be 7×6=42 m
