The length of a rectangle is twice its breadth.

Let breadth be x.

Length =2x

It is given that, Perimeter of rectangle is 72 m.

Since, Perimeter of rectangle =2(Length+Breadth)

2(x+2x)=72 m

2(3x)=72 m

6x=72 m

x=72 m6

x=12 m

length =2x=2×12 m=24 m

Hence, the given statement is True.
