The correct option is A


Let the breadth of rectangle be x
Length = 2x
Perimeter = 2 (length + breadth)
Perimeter, 2(x + 2x) = 42 m

3x = 21 m
On solving, we get x = 7 m
Breadth = 7 m
Length = 14 m

Area = length × breadth = 98 m2
