The correct option is B 392 m2

Let the width of rectangle be x m.
Then, length = 2x m

Perimeter = 2×(length+breadth)
Perimeter = 2(x+2x)=84 m
6x=84 m
On solving, we get
x=14 m

Hence, width = 14 m
Length = 28 m

Area = length × breadth
= 28×14
Area = 392 m2
