Solution

Answer :

Given : length of a rectangular garden is 5.4 times its breadth .
So ,
Let Breadth of rectangular garden = x
So,
Length of rectangular garden = 5.4x

And given : if the cost of four layered fencing for the garden is rs 1,29,600 at the rate of rs 36per metre , So

4 ( Perimeter of rectangular garden ) × 36 = 129600
So,

Perimeter of rectangular garden = 1296004 × 36 = 129600144 = 900 m

And we know Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth )

So,
Perimeter of rectangular garden = 2 ( x + 5.4x ) = 2 ( 6.4x )

Then we get

2 ( 6.4x ) = 900

6.4x = 450

x = 70.3125
So,
Breadth of rectangular garden = 70.3125 m ( Ans )
