Solution

Step 1: Find the perimeter of square and rectangle .

Perimeter of square = 4×side

=4×30

=120cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

=2(35+20)

=2(55)

=110cm

Step 2: Find the difference between the perimeter of a square and a rectangle

the difference between the perimeters = Perimeter of the square - Perimeter of the rectangle

=120-110

=10cm

Therefore, the difference between the perimeter of square and rectangle is 10cm .

Hence, the difference between the perimeter of square and rectangle is 10cm.
