Hence in 35 mintues the minute hand will move through $\frac{360}{60}$ . 35= ${210}^{\circ }$

The area swept will be = $\frac{210}{360}$ .$\pi$ r. r
$\to$ =$\frac{210}{360}$ . $\frac{22}{7}$ .5 .5

$\to$= $\frac{275}{6}$
$\to$= 45.8 ${cm}^2$
