Given,
P=(2,1,4) and equation of line x+310=y27=z1

Any point B on the line is(10λ3,7λ+2,λ)

Now,
Direction ratios of PB=(10λ5,7λ+3,λ4)
Direction ratios of the line =(10,7,1)
As the lines are perpendicular, therefore dot product of given lines are 0.
10(10λ5)7(7λ+3)+(λ4)=0
100λ50+49λ21+λ4=0
150λ=75
λ=12
Point B=(2,32,12)
|PB|=52=3.53
