The length of the rectangular field is thrice of its breadth. If the perimeter of this field is 800m, what is the length of the field.

Step 1: Assign values to length and breadth

Let x be the breadth of the rectangular field,

Then, the length of the rectangular field=3xmeters

Step 2: Find the length of the rectangular field.

We know that, the perimeter of the rectangular field =2(l+b)

2(l+b)=8002×4x=8008x=800x=8008x=100m

Length = 3x=3×100=300m

Hence, the length of the rectangular field is equal to 300m.
