The length of the rope of the cow is 210 cm and that of the horse is 350 cm. Read and answer the following:

A) The cow and the horse are tied on the same tree. Who can graze more grass and why?

B) The cow and the horse are tied on different trees. Who can graze more grass and why?

We know: Longer the rope, longer will be the region formed by the circle.

A) The ropes form concentric circles because the centre is same for both the ropes. The horse has more rope length, so it can graze more.

B) The ropes form two different circles because the centre is different. Again, the horse has more rope length, so it can graze more.
