Then according to the question $a=6.4mb=2.5m$

$\therefore$ Area of the rectangle is (a X b ) until square $=(6.4\times 2.5)m^2=16m^2$

Now let, the side of the square be x m .

Then area is $x^2{m}^2$

According to the question ,

$x^2=16\Rightarrow x=\pm 4$

Since the length of the square can not be -ve.

$\therefore$ x = 4 cm.

$\therefore$ option B is correct.
