Let $ABCD$ be rhombus where $AC=6cm$ and $BD=8cm$

We know that diagonals of rhombus bisect each other at right angles.

Hence, $AO=OC=3cm$ and $BO=OD=4cm$

Therefore, by Pythagoras theorem in right $\Delta AOD$, we get,

$\Rightarrow AD=\sqrt{A{O}^2+D{O}^2}$

$\Rightarrow AD=\sqrt{3^2+4^2}$

$\therefore AD=5cm$

As all sides of rhombus are equal, hence, side os rhombus is $5cm$.
