The length of the two sides of the triangle are 6cmand10cm. Between what two whole numbers should lie the measure of the third sides?

Given : Two sides of triangle are 6cmand10cm

We know that the length of the third side is always greater than the difference of the other two sides and

We also know that the length of the third side must be less than the sum of the other two sides.

Difference of the two sides=10cm-6cm=4cm.

And sum of the two sides =10cm+6cm=16cm.

Hence, the length of the third side must be greater than 4cm and less than 16cm.
