The letter "S" can be divided into two equal parts as:


Area of each part is 34th the difference between the area of the bigger circle and the area of the smaller circle.

So, the area of each part is:

34×(π×52π×32) sq.ft

=34×π×16 sq.ft

=12π sq.ft

Hence, the total area of the letter "S" is:
2×12π=24π sq.ft
