List price of table fan (M.P) = Rs. 480
Rate of discount $= 25 %$
$∴$ Selling price (S.P)
$= \frac{M . P \times (100 - d i s c o u n t %)}{100}$
$= R s . \frac{480 \times (100 - 25)}{100} = R s . \frac{480 \times 75}{100}$
$= R s . 360$
Or cost price of a retailer = Rs. 360
$G a i n % = 15 %$
$∴$ Selling price $= \frac{C . P \times (100 + g a i n %)}{100}$
$= \frac{360 \times (100 + 15)}{100} = R s . \frac{360 \times 115}{100} = R s . 414$ .
