The correct option is B Anticlockwise
Since the inward flux linked with the circuit is increasing therefore according to the Lenz’s law, the current will flow in the anticlockwise direction to oppose the increasing flux through the circuit.

We know that in a circuit, the current flows in the direction of the electric field.

Therefore, the direction of the induced electric field will be the same as that of the induced current, i.e. anticlockwise direction.


Hence, (B) is the correct answer.
Note: The direction of the induced electric field is the same as the direction of induced current in the circuit.
