Closer is the magnetic field lines, stronger will be the magnetic field.In the figure, the magnetic field lines are closest to each other at 1 than at point 2 and 3. And magnetic field lines are wider at point 3 than point 2. Hence magnetic field strength is higher at point 2 than point 3.
