Question

The magnetic flux through a loop of resistance 0.1Ω is varying according to the relation ϕ=6t2+7t+1 where ϕ is in milliweber and 't' is in second. What is the e.m.f. induced in the loop at t = 1s and the magnitude of the current?

Solution

ϕ=6t2+7t+1
On differentiating with respect to t
V=12t+7
V at 1 sec is 12+7=19mV
I=VR=190mA
