Magnetic force (F) experienced by the electron in the magnetic field B is given by:
F=Bev(sinθ)
where velocity of the electron, v = 2775 km s1 = 27.75×105 m s1 and angle between velocity of the electron and magnetic field, θ=30
Substituting the given values, we get
7.336×1014 = B×1.6×1019 ×27.75×105×sin(30)
On solving, B=0.33 T.
